About Us

Get out of the concrete jungle, and stay at our beautiful bed and breakfast. Casa Cody Bed & Breakfast Country Inn in Palm Springs, California, is a historical site offering beauty and tranquility around every corner.

Casa Cody Historic Inn

Walk the same grounds that celebrities have throughout the years. Our inn includes an L-shaped wing that was designed by the architect, Myron Hunt, built by Harriet Cody, with continued structural work by the architect, Harold William Cody, a relative to Buffalo Bill Cody. There are also portions of a native stone wall and irrigation ditch commissioned by Judge John McCallum, Palm Springs' first non-Indian settler. It was McCallum's vision to make Palm Springs an agricultural hub, but this dream was ruined by a dreadful decade drought during the 1890s.

Notable Guests

The inn has accommodated many famous individuals throughout the years. Many families stay at our inn, and always enjoy their stay no matter their age. Our inn has quite the history with a 1910s adobe house, 1930s winter house, and a small cottage that was relocated from the 1932 Los Angeles Summer Olympic Village.

Our facility is recognized as once being a playground to stars and celebrities of the early 20th century. It was during World War II that the inn housed several of General Patton's officers training for the North African Campaign, and has accommodated the following celebrities, but not limited to:

• Lawrence Tibbett • Charlie Chaplin • Buffalo Bill Cody

• Albert Einstein
